Basically There are two main life insurance plan one is Endowment and Second is Term Insurance.
Endowment Plan Means You will give X amount of money every year and you will get Y amount of money after 10 or 20 years.
Term Insurance Means you will give X (8000 rs) Amount of money every year and in case of death your family will get Y (1 crore) amount of money.

In Endowment or Ulip term insurance plan 20-30% percent commission is given to the Agent , that amount deducted from your premium.
That’s Why all agent force you to take Endowment plan because in term insurance they are very less commission.
In Inida Most people prefered LIC of India, LIC is the best life insurance company in india.
