Boris is savaged by a sheep....

Another classic TV political interview during GE2019.

PM Boris Johnson has been endlessly goaded and accused of running scared from Marr and Neil. Is it possible this was a cunning ploy from CCO to encourage the expectation that Boris was indeed running scared, leading to jibes and expectations of seeing Boris blood smeared on the studio walls?

Well, the first Caledonian inquisitor duly got his victim and now probably wishes he hadn't managed to persuade Boris into his lair. He was thoroughly and brutally Marrmelised (to adapt and borrow an expression from Kenn Dodd, himself a rare celebrity Conservative supporter).

Nevertheless all the BJ haters rushed to twitter to try and reassure each other that Boris had been poleaxed by Red Andy, but the truth is that Marr was out of his depth. BJ has been buoyed by recent successes, and the opportunity to seem prime ministerial over the London Kahn terrorist affair (no, not that one..) was well taken.

Marr tried hard to blame all 10 years of Tory government on Boris who has no problem turning it round on an increasingly desperate "Red Andy" Marr who realises he has been done up like a kipper. Top Sunday morning entertainment!

However, the bigger offence is that the follow on clips of this event being used by BBC News reports are woefully spun and wrenched from context. BBC, to make it seem as if Marr landed a few punches. Talk about fakery! The opportunity for the BBC to play fast and loose with objective News reporting is rapidly coming to an end. Are they now just going for broke?
