Prime Minister Boris Johnson commends his new cabinet for 'achieving or retaining great offices of state' in first meeting after the reshuffle.

The PM said: "Congratulations to you all on achieving, or indeed retaining, the great offices of state." Adding, "That is no mean feat. We're here to deliver for the people of this country."

Newly promoted ministers and those spared the cull were all smiles as the arrived at No 10 despite Westminster press asking some about Sajid Javid's shock departure from office.
