Brynn Brown Drops 9:59.18 To Set Region 1-6A Meet Record!

Brynn Brown already held the Region 1-6A 3,200m meet record, but today, she set the standard even lower with her first race of the weekend. The Denton Guyer product ran a 9:59.19 to better her previous mark of 10:19.08, which she set in 2019.
She is just a week beyond her 2:09.60 in the 800m, which was also a PR at the UIL 5-6 6A Area Championships. Brown paced a group runners in which two other runners also ran sub 10:30 with Aubrey O'Connell going 10:24.30 for second and Natalie Cook went 10:26.67, which are both top 25 ranked times in the country. A total of seven girls ran sub 11:00 for the 3,200m distance.
