UPDATE 4/4 I am being told that HEPA filters contain fiber glass and you shouldn’t put them in masks. Do your own research on that.

These won't prevent you from contracting a virus. N95 masks should be used whenever possible. But these say they will filter small particles. If you are making them for personal use, I think these filters would be great, but if you are making them for hospitals, check with them before you put any filters in the pockets!
