Chrissy's Court is Peak Celebrity Cringe (and so is Quibi)

Hey guys welcome back to my channel! This week I thought it would be fun to take a look at the newest streaming platform on the market: Quibi! We're going to be looking at one show specifically, Chrissy's Court and then later in the video talking about the platform in general so if you're interested in that- stick around!. Quibi's definitely had one of the more controversial releases in comparison to other streaming platforms but in fairness, it's definitely the most unique... in the way that it's already angered its audience within hours of being released earlier last week lol. Obviously, what's going on in the world right now plays a pretty strong role in how bumpy Quibi's roll-out was but I think the content they're offering is worth talking about as well. Personally, the show I was most interested in watching once Quibi dropped was Chrissy's Court starring Chrissy Teigen! The show is meant to be a spoof take on Judge Judy starring Chrissy Teigen as a judge handling various small claims cases.

As I mentioned in the video, getting the footage of the show into this video was a real hassle so I ended up having to resort to filming my phone playing the show with my camera so apologies for the video quality being a little iffy :( I was able to snag the original audio for the episode though so hopefully that helps make it more watchable lol.

Also I forgot to mention this in the video but I definitely think the lengths Quibi is going to make it impossible to share screenshots/clips from episodes isn't a smart move considering word of mouth is a great way to get attention to your shows. Naturally, people want to share the things they watch from their phones even more than they do for things they watch on traditional TV because their phone makes it way easier to share things but who knows, maybe they know something i dont lol, let me know what you guys think about that though!

OK SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG lol i think the platform is interesting for sure and while I'm not 100% on board with it, I'm definitely intrigued on what the future of the platform will include, really interested to hear your thoughts on this one so sound off in the comments if you'd like!! :)
