For most of the early 2000s, Lindsey Lohan was one of the most popular stars in all of hollywood. She had appeared in movies like mean girls, freaky Friday and the parent trap. These appearances on the big screen are all eclipsed by per appearance in court. In 2010, Lohan was being sentenced for repeatedly violating her probation from an earlier dui arrest, and jail time was clearly a possibility. Before the sentence was passed down, she tried to turn the tide to her favour by standing up and giving a speech in the middle of the court.
Sure Knight
Sure knight is one of the most iconic figures in all of hip hop. He launched his career as a pop culture icon when he started hanging out with snoop dog, and Tupac. The sad story is that his musical talent was often eclipsed for his short temper and tendency to start fights. In the early 2000s he spend some time in jail for various assaults. After he was released, fans believed that he was reformed; however, in 2015, this facade was shattered when he got involved in a hit and run incident that killed one person.
Amber heard
Only a few months ago, you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing about the amber heard and Johnny Depp case. Heard was accusing Depp of abusing her for years during their relationship. Depp defended himself and sued her once she wrote a defamatory article about him in the Washington post.
Bill Cosby
Bill Cosby was americas most beloved and successful entertainers was sentenced in a Pensilvania courtroom for 3-10 years in a sexual assault case. This case became insanely famous as he was regarded as a national icon. His questionable behaviour had become largely unnoticed for decades.
Katy parry and the nuns
Katy part tried purchasing a convent in Los Angles for almost 15 million dollars. This would have been an easy purchase; however, there were some real estate complexities that occurred. One of the nuns of the convent, by the name of Catherine had collapsed and died in court. To make the situation worse, her last words were supposably “Katy Perry please stop”.
Michael Jase
Michael Jase isn’t a super massive celebrity, but he is very well known for portraying the one of the main police officers in the drama show shield. It is quite ironic that in real life he has embodied anything but a police officer. In fact, he is a convicted murderer currently serving 40 years in a maximum security prison.
Harvey winestien
Harvey wienstien’s trial was so large it sparked a movement, the metoo movement. In October of 2017, over 80 women came forward to accuse bill Cosby of sexual misconduct. During the trial he conveniently appeared with a walker and complained about his back pain to which people were quite skeptical of. The jury deliberated for 5 whole days and when they came back he was found guilty on 2 counts and was sentence to 23 years in prison.
Aaron Hernandez
Aaron Hernandez was once the most promising player in the entire NFL, as one of the most talented players, he seemed to be set for a long career with the New England patriots. But instead, he threw all of that away in 2013 when he took the life of Odin Boyd. He was arrested and charged promptly afterwards, and was found guilty in 2015. Unfortunately for him, for this guilty sentence, he will spend the rest of his life behind bars. In the sentencing video you can see him clearly on edge, like he knows exactly what will happen to him.
Phill spectre
Phill spectre is regarded as one of the most innovative producers of all time. He worked with lennord Cohan and even the beetles. For much of his career, he was described as an unpredictable but harmless eccentric. That however all changed in 2009, when he was convicted of taking the life of wanna Clarkson. He claimed he was innocent throughout the entire trial, but it clearly didn’t help as he was sentenced to 19 years in prison. His story ends in prison as well as he died at the age of 81 in 2021.

Nobody can argue that the most iconic celebrity trial of all time belongs to OJ Simpson. Before the trial, he was regarded as a fantastic football player who made a fortune playing for the buffalo bills. His success story embodied the american dream, from growing up in the projects to being a football hall-of-famer, he had it all. After this trial, it became all he was known for. This trial was everywhere and was extensively covered in the media, it was the most entertaining thing to watch at the time.
