Civita di Bagnoregio Walking Tour - The Dying City

Civita di Bagnoregio is one of the most striking medieval towns in all of Italy perched high up on a volcanic rock. The ancient Etruscan people chose this site for its high ground in the 6th Century BC. Over the centuries, earthquakes and erosion have caused parts of Civita to collapse into the valley below, giving it the nickname The Dying City. This walk was filmed on November 10th, 2018. I was not originally happy with the low sunlight and was planning to film this walk again in April of 2020. Due to the nationwide lockdown, that no longer became an option so I decided to post up this video now.
