Classic French Toast ( only in 10 minutes )
Description
Hello guys! Today, let's make an easy and delicious brunch/breakfast recipe.
Ingredients
-4 Slices of Bread
-2 Large Size Egg
-3 tbsp Brown/White Sugar
-1/3 glass of milk
-1 tsp Vanilla Essence
-1/4 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
- A pinch Salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cube of Butter
1. In a wide dish, add 2 eggs and beat them well
2. Then add 1/3 glass of milk and mix it
3. Add 2-3 tbsp of sugar,1/4 tsp of cinnamon powder, 1 tbsp of vanilla essence and a pinch of salt to the mixture to bring out the sweetness. Mix them well until well combined.
4. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil as well as add a cube of butter to the pan. ( adding both oil and butter will prevent the bread from sticking)
5. Wait until the butter and oil turns into a golden brown color (please remember to not burn it)
6. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and let them soak on both sides
7. Transfer the bread slice into the hot pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes each side
Note: Remember to add a little bit of butter for each bread slice to prevent sticking and burning. Also, wipe out the oil and butter with a tissue paper each time to prevent unwanted greasing
8. Lather a pinch of powdered sugar on top of the toast for taste (optional)
9. Serve hot with butter and maple syrup/honey; you can also
pair it with some fresh berries
