Climate Change with Scott Amyx: Interview with Isabel Aagaard, Co-Founder of LastObject
Description
Welcome to Climate Change with Scott Amyx. I’m your host Scott Amyx. Today I am joined by Isabel Aagaard, co-founder and co-designer at LastObject. Isabel graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Architecture, Design, and Conservation in 2016.
Isabel’s mission is to create durable and well-designed products that are reusable. Upon discovering the devastating impact cotton swabs have on the environment she started working on a solution to fix it, which brought on LastObject's first product LastSwab, the first sanitary, reusable alternative to cotton swabs.
The LastObject team’s latest design is LastTissue, which aims to bring the handkerchief back and stop the waste caused by single-use tissues.
Isabel lives in Copenhagen, Denmark.
