Starting in Brazil, Airfox mobile banking platform, banQi, is making it easier and less expensive for people to access their money and build wealth. Their vision is trust between people and institutions is the key to financial inclusion and social development with a mission to democratize financial services for all people with ease, trust, and low cost using technology built with empathy and superior customer experience.

As a tech entrepreneur, Victor Santos’ focus is financial inclusion in fintech. Santos earned his degree at UC Berkeley and worked at Google prior to starting Airfox and its banQi digital banking platform in Brazil. Santos has been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneur and MIT Technology Review 35 Under 35 Innovator for creating Airfox’s mobile micro-lending solution in Brazil. Victor Santos moved to the US from Brazil when he was 12
years old and was inspired to start a fintech company that solves the challenges he and his family faced trying to access financial services in Brazil. Victor is also a proud dreamer DACA recipient and an outspoken activist for improved immigration policy in the U.S.
Victor grew his company from a small team of developers working in a shared space at the Harvard Launch Labs, to more than 80 people. Not many people, let alone a 28-year-old, are able to accomplish as much as Victor has in the last few years. His latest startup has raised $26.2 million in funding. Like his parents, Santos is an immigrant reaching out for the American Dream.
