Coronavirus: 40 Deaths, 1035 New Cases In Last 24 Hours In India | April 11, 2020

As India enters its eighteenth day of nation-wide lockdown, the country witnesses the sharpest increase in the novel Coronavirus cases. Reportedly, there were 7,747 confirmed cases on Saturday morning with Maharashtra being the worst-affected state with over 1,666 positive COVID-19 cases followed by Delhi which registered 183 new cases in a single day on Friday. The Government may extend its 21-day lockdown to curb the spread of the virus.
