Coronavirus outbreak: Trump says return to normal by Easter would be a "great timeline" | FULL

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump said he was aiming for an Easter return to normal life for the U.S. or large portions of it, calling an Eastern return a "great timeline."

Trump and Dr. Anthony Fauci were both questioned over how realistic the President's proposed Easter return to normal life for most of the U.S. was.

Trump also said that he has not yet specifically invoked the Defense Production Act to compel companies to produce materiel to combat the COVID-19 outbreak, saying the threat of imposition represents "great leverage."

As well, Director of the National Economic Council Larry Kudlow hailed the Trump Administration's $6 trillion USD stimulus package, calling it the "single-largest Main Street assistance program in the history of the United States."
