Description

In this UCSF Medical Grand Rounds (July 23, 2020), we begin with a review of the epidemiology of current surges challenging many areas in the South and West of the United States. We then hear reports from three of the nation’s hardest hit cities and institutions: Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, the University of Miami Health System, and Houston Methodist Hospital. We will also hear from a UCSF Health clinical leader, as we too are experiencing an increase in Covid-19 patients. The session is hosted by UCSF Department of Medicine chair Bob Wachter.
