DYNAMIC 20MIN STAY AT HOME ATHLETE WORKOUT (*10)
Description
IN THIS VIDEO WE GO THROUGH A 20MIN WORKOUT THAT WILL DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN YOUR ATHLETIC ABILITY AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
The exercises included in the workout are:
Hops in place to develop greater leg stiffness
V-sits to develop core strength
Short lunge switch jumps, to develop speed and reactivity
Plyo glute bridges - a unique exercise that will develop power and robustness in your hamstrings and glutes
Rear to front sprint drill - this exercise will work on improving your sprint/run heel recovery as well as strengthening your glutes and hamstrings
You'll do the exercises on a 30sec on 30sec off basis (single leg exercises will require you to go straight from one leg to the other, so you will be working for 60sec). There are two circuits in the video but you can add another, simply by rerunning the video.
I provide exact on off times for the circuits, providing an on screen timer and a bell to signify when to start and finish. You'll also hear me provide instruction during the work periods which will keep your mind focussed on the correct exercise technique.
