Eliud Kipchoge's Plan to SMASH The MARATHON WORLD RECORD || 2020 London Marathon Breakdown
Description
The marathon world record is in danger. Real danger.
After breaking the 2 hour barrier at the Ineos 159 challenge, the marathon world record holder Eliud Kipchoge has a new level of confidence moving into this year's London Marathon.
In an interview with the BBC, Kipchoge expressed how he believes that breaking the 2 hour barrier in a normal marathon such as London is absolutely possible. Soon after Kipchoge shared his goal of breaking his own course record which stands at 2:02:37.
Clearly, this year's London marathon will be a race to remember, and given that Kenenisa Bekele is slated to join King Kipchoge on the starting line, I can only imagine the fireworks in store us on race day.
Thanks for watching!
