Ethiopia Plans to Privatize Sugar Industry to Drive Growth

Feb.03 -- The Ethiopian government is planning to privatize Ethiopian Sugar Corp.’s assets. This includes a factory complex a two-hour drive southeast of Addis Ababa. Privatization of the sugar industry is part of a sweeping liberalization plan.
