FALAFEL SANDWICH WRAPS - Delicious Eastern Mediterranean Street Food from Ehla Eat Stall, London..
Description
✓ We've "discovered" a great Falafel Wrap stall, it's a delicious market stall going by the name "Ehla Eat" serving up gorgeous pure vegetarian wraps, what makes the wraps that they serve such a treat is that they wrap it all up with a Lebanese flat bread or Saj bread (almost like an Indian style Roti bread) and the falafel balls are freshly fried so they retain a crispy bite within the actual wrap.
What makes the "fully loaded" pure vegan and vegetarian wraps even more special is that it has the following fillings:
* Hummus (sprinkled with Paprika Powder)
* Freshly fried Falafel balls
* Homemade Hot Chilli Sauce
* Freshly cut Iceberg Lettuce
* White Cabbage
* Fattoush Salad (Cucumber, Tomato, Carrot, Radish Turkish Peppers)
* Fried Aubergine
* Pickled Turnip (coloured pink with Beetroot Juice)
* Pomegranate Seeds
* Fresh Mint Leaves
* Pickled Mild Chilli
* Tahini (Sesame Sauce)
If you don't feel like a having a wrap they also serve up boxes with the same fillings as the wraps but with additional toppings such as Halloumi, Pitta Chips and Yoghurt.
Box has an option of Salad or Cooked Bulgar Wheat
We don't know the recipe for the falafel / fallafel but it can be a combination of various kinds of vegetables, "Secret" herbs and spices such as:
* Chickpeas
* Fava Beans
* Onion
* Parsley
* Sesame Seeds
* Garlic
* Leeks
* Mixed Palestinian Herbs and Spices.
* Water.
* Salt.
They food served up is inspired by countries around the Levantine Sea: Cyprus, Syria, Jordon, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Egypt, Greece and Turkey.
There is no secret to the recipe & preparation because the falafal Chef makes everything in full view of you, please be warned that these wraps are absolutely delicious!!! This is restaurant quality Street food at it's very best but at very affordable street food prices!!!
Like we said, the served wrap is fully loaded, so make sure you visit with an empty stomach..........or with a friend to share.
The falafels are always being constantly fried so in the actual wrap they retain a great crisp and crunch.
The owners use a traditional homemade family recipe to create authentic tasting Palestinian falafels.
