Finishing The Fire Table’s Metal Top. 1st Experiment... 99 Proof Liquor Soaked Charcoal n Ferro Rod
Description
I used the 3/32" piece of sheet metal from the first fire table that I ever made many years ago. It's just been sitting around for years as I tried other styles of fire tables. I only had to cut 10" off one side to get the dimensions I wanted.
Today's fire experiment needs to happen to make way for my next video. That will be processing charcoal from a fire pit down into fine powder and storing it in another one of my found mini-bottles. I'll then try different types of fire rolls with the very fine and very dry powder.
So, the little splash of 99 proof alcohol that's still in the bottle will have to go... I wanted to use it to soak a piece of charcoal, ferro rod ignite it, and see if it will make a long lasting flame before going to ember.
