#glutenfree #healthy #pizza

This is my first time ever making a homemade pizza and I did it all on camera! I only used what I had in my apartment during quarantine.
I would love to hear what toppings you would use from your place for my pizza challenge!

Recipe / Ingredients I used:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees fahrenheit

Prepare Yeast mixture first:
1 Pkg. Yeast (~ 1 Tbsp.)
1 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 cup warm water
Mix top 3 ingredients together in a mixing bowl and let sit for approx. 5 minutes or until the mix turns foamy ( I threw my mixture in the oven with the door open for about 1 minute since I didn't think it was warm enough)

Prepare flour blend:
2 cups all purpose gluten free flour ( I used presidents choice)
1 tsp. salt ( I used pink himalayan sea salt)
1 Tbsp. Olive oil
1 large egg
1 tsp. Apple cider vinegar
Oil hands and form mixture into ball using hands. Place on a piece of parchment paper (on a baking pan) Press down and roll out into pizza shape.

Bake crust for 8-10 minutes. (I added about 1 tbsp. Olive oil onto crust before and baked for 8 minutes)
Remove from oven( I added another 1 Tbsp. Olive oil on top of crust to prevent from drying out and placed in oven for one more minute.)
Remove from oven and add toppings of choice( Layer to prevent anything getting soggy ie. driest ingredients first on top of tomato sauce)
I used:
Organic tomato basil sauce (president's choice)
Cooked Bacon
Sun-dried tomatoes
Organic Spinach
artichoke hearts
jalapeños
Black olives
Vegan cheese (or cheese of choice- i used daiya cheddar)
Herbed goat cheese
Balsamic Glazed Sautéed Garlic (I sautéed ~6 cloves chopped garlic in pan with balsamic vinegar (~6 Tbsp.) on low-medium and let simmer down until glaze forms) Next time I would use more garlic and more Balsamic Vinegar. It shrinks soooo much!
Place back in oven for another 8-10 minutes. (I did 8 minutes)
Enjoy!
Let me know what you think...
Xx Bree
