Play Magnus Group has partnered with Goldmoney to present the next top event in world chess: the Goldmoney Asian Rapid.

Sixteen stars have been lined up to show their metal in the contest.

Participants include Magnus Carlsen, Hou Yifan, Liren Ding, Levon Aronian, Vladislav Artemiev, Daniil Dubov, Wesley So, Anish Giri, Jan Duda, Arjun Erigaisi, G Vidit, S Salem, Peter Svidler, Alireza Firouzja, D Gukesh, B Adhiban.

So far the Tour has achieved 90 million live broadcast views on online streaming platforms and a record-breaking 283,000 peak concurrent viewership for professional chess tournaments.

With a time control of 15 minutes per player for all moves, plus a 10-second increment for each move made.

The qualification round takes place over three days, with the top 8 players out of 16 going through to the knockout stage.
