Indonesia-Australia foreign and defence ministers' meeting held in Bali

Indonesian defence and foreign affairs ministers have met their Australian counterparts in Bali. This is part of a series of meetings in 2019 between the two nations. On the agenda were mutual areas of cooperation, with counter-terrorism and cybersecurity taking the top line of discussion. Relations between the two countries look set to deepen.
A free trade deal was signed in early-2019 and is expected to be ratified by end-2019. Indonesian President Joko Widodo is also said to be visiting Australia in early 2020.
