Iranian project Surena unveils new humanoid robot

Iranian humanoid robot project Surena exhibited the fourth generation of their humanoid robot in the capital Tehran on Saturday.

Participating in the event was Iran's Vice President for science and technology Sorena Sattari.

During the unveiling, the robot was seen walking, picking up a balloon and having a conversation.

Surena was named after the 1st century BC Parthian General Rustaham Surena, who is known in Iran for defeating the Romans at battle.
