When your company raises a $400M Series C, it means that something you did must be working well :)

I’m guessing you’ve heard about WeWork, the company at the center of the tech world’s attention last year. Now, it’s time for you to discover Knotel, a platform on top of real estate providing flexible workspace for large companies on 4 continents. The value proposition is centered on flexible, customizable and scalable workspaces for big clients. In short, it’s the other side of the market WeWork is targeting. Knotel’s users look for spaces for an average of 100 people, not 5 or 10 like other coworking spaces.

Edward Shenderovich is the cofounder and chairman of this company with 450+ employees. A serial entrepreneur, he’s also served as an investor at Kite Ventures, with board seats at great scale-ups such as Delivery Hero and Tradeshift.

He was interviewed by Mathias Pastor, Director at The Family, and it was a truly inspiring conversation about Edward’s background (how he came to found this sort of company), real estate, their model, and their planned development for the next couple of years.
