During the hearing of the Lakhimpur Kheri case on 8th October, the Supreme Court has shown its dissatisfaction over the UP Govt.'s probe into the matter. A bench headed by Chief Justice NV Ramana said that the court is not satisfied with the steps taken by the state for the investigation. In response, senior advocate Harish Salve, on behalf of the UP government, assured the Supreme Court that further satisfactory steps would be taken.
