Parents and stress are huge topics in the autism world. The typical parenting stress is enough to make one person tired at the end of the day, but special needs parenting brings it to a whole other level. If you’re looking for reducing stress advice, Dr. James Coplan’s got you covered. Coplan goes over some great anxiety tips, and stress relief tactics for parents and professionals of children with autism.
Stress from autism isn’t something to be ashamed about. Even I as an autism mom and professional still can get stressed out. You’re not alone, and one of the best things you can do is connect with other parents who are also stressed. I’ve done several other videos and podcast episodes about stress, autism support groups, and ways to make teaching a child with autism less stressful.
