Max “Has No Ego Problems”

Max Verstappen is no doubt becoming, if not has already become, a phenomenon in the world of F1 and his boss Christian Horner opens up about the effect he is having within Red Bull that has helped them strive for greater success.

"Max has no ego problems, is very accessible and therefore popular in the garage and with the company. You see that everyone wants to take an extra step, because they believe in Max and they support him one hundred percent.”

“The hours everyone makes in the garage to get all the parts on the car and constantly improve them: that's really unprecedented.”

Red Bull Will Win Title in 2020

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko is known to make big claims leading into a new season and he has not disappointed by giving us his thoughts on how his team will perform in 2020.

"The fact that last season we only won three GPs cost me money in several races because the team had the potential to win five, maybe even six races.”

“As for 2020? We will win at least five races and the title.”

Vettel’s Best Behind Him

Former F1 driver turned pundit, Martin Brundle, has recently analysed the current Sebastian Vettel’s career and came to the following conclusions.

"You can't take anything away from him. What I think he's always had, is somehow a lack of judgement in wheel-to-wheel combat, and it's showing up more and more as he gets older.”

"He's still got the speed. Some of his quali laps are outstanding, just lightening fast. I think he's got the pace, you wouldn't race him off, and you wouldn't change him in a hurry for an unknown, but his best is behind him."

Bottas “No Brainer” to Stay with Mercedes

Heading into his fourth year as a Mercedes driver Valterri Bottas is showing no interest in leaving the silver arrows, going as far as stating if given the choice, he’d sign for 2021 right now.

"I can't remember a time where so many people are expiring with contracts. Of course, me, like every other driver will look at all the possible options.”

"Now, if I could decide on my future for 2021 it would be a no brainer to continue with this team. I really enjoy it here, we are performing better and better and I am becoming a better driver all of the time."

Norris “Too Jokey” in Rookie Season

Lando Norris impressed many people in his rookie year and when reflecting on his own season he had the following to say about it.

"In some ways I think I've been almost been too relaxed, and had too much fun. When it's become more serious, I haven't focused as much as I should do and so on, and worked on as many areas as I should do, I think I started to take a little bit for granted.”

"It's been good and I've been able to have fun in my first season, I've not just come in and been surrounded by too many serious things and people. Maybe sometimes I've pushed it a bit too much in terms of making it too jokey, and not focusing as much as I should”
