MOTUL ENGINE OILS FOR BIKE & SCOOTER | ADVANTAGE | SPECS | REVIEW | #MOTULENGINEOIL | Happy New Year
Description
Motul 7100 4T Synthetic Engine Oil. Ester blended 100% synthetic 4-Stroke oil technology, formulated to meet the highest motorcycle manufacturer specifications in terms of JASO and API. Designed for the perfect synergy of less oil consumption, reduced internal friction and extreme pressure performance for more power.
All the credit goes to Motul Synthetic Engine oil. The oil works well in both diesel and gasoline engines. It's one of the perfect solutions for your bike. The other advantage is that you can use the oil more than once because it's synthetic.
The numbers 20W50 refer to the viscosity of the motor oil, set by the Society of American Engineers. This refers to its fluidity or thickness. The "20W" indicates how quickly the engine will start when cold or in cold weather. ... 20W50 motor oil is relatively viscous and thick. Most modern oils are 10W40 or even 5W40.
20W50 will hold on to the viscosity marginally better than 20W40 when the engine gets hot. However, 20W50 mineral oil will cause more sludge than a similar 20W40 because 20W50 will have more viscosity improvers. Pulsar 150's manual recommends 20W40, but you can use either, not much of a difference.
Technosynthese is a blend of synthetic and mineral base oils. MOTUL often uses esters as synthetic oil bases, for car and motorcycle engines.
The smaller number, (the 20 part of 20w-50) describes how the oil behaves at 40 deg C and a 20w at 40 deg C is about 10 times thicker than your engine wants. A 10w-40 is better at around 6 times thicker and a 0w-40 is much better at about 4 times thicker.
Why Synthetic Oil Is Worth the Extra Cost. Synthetic oil is more expensive than conventional oil but offers superior protection for your car's engine. ... So if you can afford the extra cost, you should choose synthetic oil — and if your car requires it, you must use it.

All in all the Motul 7100 Fully Synthetic oil is absolutely worth the money it costs. Its drain interval is at a steady 6000-7000 km to be on a safer side, though it is very much capable to carry on up to 8000 km if you do not tend to ride your bike hard.

Motul 7100 20W50 is synthetic engine oil and as far as mine knowledge is concerned synthetic oils are good for 8000–9000 km.
But here we should not forget that a bike would take a lot of time to cover that much of mileage and by that time the lubricative, as well as the detergent properties of the oil, will have deteriorated.
So I would recommend changing your Engine Oil between 4000–5000 km or after a period of max 5–6 months.
Also, make sure that you use an Engine Flush as that would help you remove all the deposits that have been sitting in the engine and blocking the oil flow. I would recommend LIQUI MOLY as it is German made and has a lot of positive feedback.
Just pour less than half a bottle in your Engine before removing the old oil and let the engine idle for about 5–6 mins. Then drain the oil. Pour in the new Engine oil and your engine should be almost like new.
Don’t flush your engine every time you change your oil. It should be done once in every 25000–50000 km depending upon your type of usage.
In general bike servicing, they check all the components like electronics, engine, carburetor(if present ) engine oil change, oil filter change, air filter, swing arms, chain and sprocket, suspension, breaks, and overall cleaning and lubrication.
If you don't use your bike regularly, it is best to change the oil at least twice a year. If your motorcycle engine is using semi-synthetic motor oil, it is a good idea to change the oil after 5,000 or 6,000 miles.
How do I maintain my new bike?
Part 1 Doing Specific Maintenance Tasks
Check the tire condition regularly. ...
Check and top up or replace engine oil. ...
Always keep the air filter clean. ...
Adjust the clutch correctly as needed. ...
Service your engine regularly. ...
Maintain the transmission system. ...
Clean the bike regularly. ...
Maintain your bike's battery.
It will be a normal running engine case because when the engine runs the amount of oil level decreases. But there is too much of excess it will harm the bike as the oil will be leak put will running or it goes to the filter box or it
