On February 8, 2021, Alireza Jafarzadeh of the Washington office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI-US) discussed the legal and political details the February 4 ruling by a Belgian court which sentenced an Iran regime's top diplomat to 20 years, during an interview with Tudor Dixon of Real America's Voice network. The diplomat, Assadollah Assadi, was found guilty of masterminding and taking part in the plot to bomb the 2018 100,000-strong Paris summit of the democratic opposition NCRI, with its President-elect Maryam Rajavi as the primary target.
