NEW EDUCATION POLICY 2020 - What India can learn from top education systems? | Abhi and Niyu

In this video, we explore what India can learn from some of the top education systems in the world. We examined the education systems of Finland, Japan, and Germany and brought together 3 suggestions that Indian schools can apply in real life without waiting for the implementation of National Education Policy 2020.

These changes are as follows:
Finland
Reducing pressure from school going kids by giving them more time to grow. This includes giving less homework, and ample time for other activities.
Building better student-teacher relationships.
Better pay and social status for teachers.

Japan
Moral teaching and critical thinking for students. The #NEP2020 has introduced self-evaluation for school going kids which is a very progressive step and every school can learn from it. Schools can have activities to promote moral coaching from an early age. And using tales from Ramayana, Jataka, Mahabharata, Panchatantra can teach them while entertaining them.

Germany
All work is important. Everybody contributes to the country by doing their job. If certain jobs get more importance than they should then it breaks the equilibrium of the economy. Vocational training is very important for those who cannot spend 16 years of their lives for education.
