Non Toppling Top

This spinning top comes from Japan, and it has an unusual trick. Start it spinning, and then using either your finger or maybe a pen or pencil try and tip it over. The top has a very low centre of gravity, and this prevents it from toppling over, it just keeps spinning. So when you try and push this top over, it just pops back upright and keeps on spinning. Until eventually friction slows it down, and in the end it topples over under its own steam, or rather from a lack of its own steam!
