In 2019, Alibaba was ranked as the most valuable brand with a brand value of over 140 billion U.S. dollars in Milward Brown's BrandZ China Top 100. Tencent came as the second with 138 billion U.S. dollars, followed by ICBC and China Mobile. There were three newcomer brands ranked in the top 20 for the first time.
