Supplements Crackdown, Greta Slowed Down & Warner's Best On Ground - Today's Biggest News
Description
Sport supplements are big business, with tens of thousands of products on Aussie shelves. Up until now, supplements have been classified as food but now the group in charge of regulating these products wants to see them labelled as therapeutic goods or medicines instead.
So what's the difference between food and medicine? Well, for starters it means tougher rules about ingredients and how much people should be taking at a time. And any big marketing claims like these ones would need evidence to back them up.
The TGA says many products, like ones that promote weight loss, actually contain ingredients that can be really harmful, and it wants to protect people who might not know what they're taking, but many businesses are worried it'll affect what products they can sell.
GRETA STUCK AT SEA
Climate activist Greta Thunberg will be arriving fashionably late to a climate summit in Spain. Greta's been sailing from New York back to Europe for the past three weeks, and she was supposed to arrive in Portugal on Friday for a student climate strike but bad winds slowed her down. The United Nations big COP-25 summit starts today, but Greta won't be arriving until Tuesday at the earliest.

Disney then had to buy it back, but John told Jimmy Fallon the cleaner probably didn't know how much it was actually worth.

This was the moment David Warner entered the record books. Warner's 300 was the highest anyone's scored in Adelaide, but he wasn't finished there. Warner ended up on 335, which is the second highest score by any Aussie! Australia ended up declaring on a whopping 589, which meant an early end to the Dave Warner show.
ALEX BLACKWELL CALLS IT QUITS
