FIRST: The Discover It Cash Back Card
This is PERFECT for people who are newer to the whole Credit Card Game and want to begin building their score, and ALSO want to get rewarded in the process. A BIG reason this card is PERFECT for millennials is because it’ll offer you 5% cash back on revolving categories throughout the year. For the first 12 months, they will MATCH your cash back with NO MINIMUMS.

SECOND: The Capital One Savor Card
Next, we’re going to step it up just a little bit depending on how you spend your money…and also, for anyone who wants a “free” $300 for doing 10 minutes of work…this is it: The Capital One Savor Card
Now, what makes this card pretty appealing is that - first, they’ll offer you a $300 cash bonus when you spend $3000 on the card in the first 3 months (some links offer $150 but with 3x points for dining)

In addition to the sign up bonus, though, you’ve also got UNLIMITED 3-4% cash back on dining and entertainment, 2% cash back at grocery stores, and 1% back on everything else. Plus, no foreign transaction fees…

THIRD: Amazon Prime Card
First, just for signing up - they’ll give you a $100 Amazon Gift Card. Then, when you pay for your purchase with this card, you’ll automatically get 5% off of your Amazon order. In addition to that, this card will also give you 2% cash back at restaurants, gas stations, and drugstores…and then 1% cash back on all other purchases. Now, even though there’s $0 annual fee…in order to get the 5% cash back on purchases, you’ll need an Amazon Prime Membership, which will run you $119 per year.

FOURTH:
American Express Gold Card
To begin, there’s a bonus out there - somewhere - if you look hard enough, that will give you 50,000 points when you sign up for the card and spend $2000 in the first 3 months:

For these points, I redeem them through Aeroplan to get free travel.
In addition to that, you’ll be getting a $120 per year DINING CREDIT.
You’ll ALSO get a $100 airline credit every year.
Not to mention, you’ll get 4x points when you spend your card on dining, 4x points when you spend your card at supermarkets, and 3x points when you spend any money on travel.
The downside, UNFORTUNATELY - is that this card comes with an annual fee of $250 per year. BUT…from my experience, that annual fee pays for itself sooooo many times over if you utilize this card for travel and you take advantage of all the features this card has to offer.

FIFTH: Chase Sapphire Reserve
To start, you’ll get a 50,000 point sign up bonus when you spend $4000 in the first 3 months. That’s a $750 value when redeemed for travel through Chase. In addition to that, you’ll get a $300 annual travel credit…which, to me, is a HUGE advantage of getting this card. You’ll also get complimentary Priority Pass Lounge Access, which is another $95 per year value. You’ll also get a $100 credit towards TSA Pre-check or Global Entry, meaning that you can get through the lines THAT much faster anytime you’re going somewhere. Tthere IS an annual fee of $450…but it’s worth it for all the perks.

HONORARY MENTIONS:
Uber Visa Card (No annual fee, $100 uber cash + 5% cash back on Uber): https://www.uber.com/us/en/money/uber-credit-card/
Citi DoubleCash Credit Car (No annual fee, 2% cash back everything)

And, being a millennial…it’s our duty to spend responsibly, put it on credit cards, pay it off in full each month, get rewards…and smash the like button for the youtube algorithm.
