The Cultural Differences in an Interracial Relationship | Filipino-American and American | WMAF

Michael and I are in an interracial relationship and we love each other so much! That said, it's interesting to navigate our cultural differences since we're from two different backgrounds. Even though I was born and raised in America, I was raised by an immigrant mother, making me a Filipino-American; Michael is straight up American. In this video, we discuss our differences in cooking styles and seasonings (and lack thereof nawimsayin'), our different cultures' ways of expressing love, what it was like for me to tell my traditional Asian mother I had a boyfriend, how I run on Filipino time, how we don't wear outside clothes inside, and what we think of WMAF relationship stereotypes.
