Top 10 Cheapest Cities To Retire in the US

What is going on everyone? Welcome back to the world according to Briggs and part two of the Cheapest Cities to retire in the US.
If you haven’t seen part one there will be a link at the end of the video.
But, I’ll give you a recap.
Most of the viewers on this channel are north of 40 years old. I get requests all the time from people wanting me to make a video about the cheapest places to retire. We’ve done a few, but haven’t really focused on big cities. Some people that retire, want to or have to retire in cities. Most of the time it is because of a need to be near good health care. Rural areas and small towns are great, but sometimes you need a big city hospital. Not everyone retires wealthy. So, those people need an affordable city with great health care and decent part-time jobs for retirees. That is what we are looking at. Most of the stats come from a few studies by the Bureau of Labor and Statistics.

If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. Most of these videos are made to help people who are thinking about relocating, looking for real estate, or just wanting to learn about the United States. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. But, most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, bail bondsmen, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will. And I will try and make it entertaining.
