Good news, last month the FBI released the complete 2018 murder rate list. Yes, it takes them almost a complete year to gather all that info. Even with computers. To be fair there are 17,985 police agencies in the United States which include County Sheriff, State Police Departments, and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. And I am sure not all of them hand over the data in a timely manner. Seeing that the FBI is and should be the final word on crime stats maybe it’s a good idea they take their time. Get it right. We will only be looking at places with a population of over 100K on a per capita.
