TOP 10 VW GOLF'S 1/4 MILE - No 10 - MK3 GOLF 800BHP VOLVO ENGINE - 9.81

Getting ready for the season to start at Santa Pod Raceway. The first VW Show is the GTI Festival, which is on the 10th of April. Here is a list of some of the quickest VW Golf's that I have filmed over the years.

Note: There may be some I have missed out, and there will obviously be ones from other countries that I have not filmed.

Coming in at number 10.......

Joe Bristow in his Mk3 VW Golf, which is powered by a Volvo 2.3 5 Pot engine with a GT35 turbo, and a little bit of nos, it is pushing out about 800bhp. It also uses a syncro rear axle modified to fit an S3 Quattro awd system, which has then been custom adapted to fit the Volvo gearbox
