UNEXPECTED MAJOR SETBACK IN BACKYARD MAKEOVER REMODEL RENOVATION | NEW PAVERS PATIO FLOODED

Woke up to a major setback in our backyard makeover remodel renovation project process. The area we have prepped for our new pavers patio was completely flooded! Water from all the nearby yards runs downhill and collects right where our new patio was begin installed. An unexpected obstacle and setback when trying to work with a small yard. We were faced with some choices in order to make this backyard patio makeover work in our backyard remodel renovation process.

We had never noticed the flooding was so bad before because it was absorbed by the grass but this is also likely why the grass in that area never grew because it was drowning in too much water every day from the excessive flooding. With the patio prepped for pavers it highlighted the problem as the water all collected on top of the patio site creating a pond of standing water right where the pavers were supposed to be laid.
