WHO chief says COVID 19 pandemic 'accelerating' as global cases top 300,000

A total of more than 300,000 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed worldwide, and the epidemic is fast spreading, said World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of WHO, said at the conference that the spread of the disease is still accelerating.
