Why AMERICA has the World's biggest army? - VisualPolitik EN

America has the world’s biggest army... China, with 4 times the population of the US, has the world’s second largest army... but they spend less than a quarter of what America does. Things like a M1 A1 Abrams tank cost 6 million dollars per unit. A brand new F-35 costs more than 100 million dollars each. And the military industrial complex spends billions of dollars each year developing new defense technologies.
Thanks to this, USA has the hegemonic position when it comes to military technology. Nor Russia or China are a match to them on this regard.
But the question is... why do they spend so much? Is it really that important? And how does the military industrial complex work? We will answer to all of these questions on this video.
