I feel like it'd be wrong to put One Punch Man in the thumbnail and never address it, so here's my thoughts on that: not unlike how I talked of Nozaki-kun, it was a show with very high highs, but I wasn't entertained by it all the way through. There were parts, especially in the last arc, where I felt it drag--and while some of the fights and individual episodes were truly great, it still left me feeling like it was more of a show to be enjoyed via sakuga compilations. Maybe that's overly harsh, but the disappointing second season definitely left it looking like less of a competitor to the manga counterpart as a definitive text.
