Will Warm Weather Kill COVID-19? | UC San Diego Health

With summer right around the corner, many are wondering if the warming weather will help slow the spread of novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19 disease, the way it does with other viruses like the flu.

As of March 31, scientists and doctors don’t know enough about this new coronavirus yet to know whether or not summer will bring slower transmission of the disease.
