COVID-19 and Kids | UC San Diego Health COVID Grand Rounds

During times of crisis and uncertainty, it can be difficult and overwhelming to sort fact from fiction. In response, physicians at UC San Diego Health have launched the COVID-19 Virtual Grand Rounds Series, a six-part live video symposium that will focus on topics related to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

Part Three – COVID-19 and Kids (Aug. 5, 2020): Leading physicians in research and epidemiology from Stanford University and Vanderbilt University will discuss the clinical manifestations of COVID-19 in children and provide an update on the current state of COVID-19 and pediatric care. This third video in the series will feature compelling discussions on the mechanisms of viral transmission, epidemiology in children, severity of symptoms, household transmission and determining protocols for when kids can go back to school.
