Then, Life Care Center of Kirkland employees are being tested for coronavirus, nearly a week and a half after the first COVID-19 death in what is considered the epicenter of Washington state's outbreak. The Life Care Center of Kirkland has been asking for days for testing for its employees, Right now just 17 percent of employees have been tested.

Also, There are three confirmed case of COVID-19 at the Josephine Caring Community in Stanwood. The facility is home to roughly 136 patients and more than 300 staff members.Currently tests for five more residents and two workers remain outstanding. The patients are in isolation at the center while the confirmed cases are at a local hospital.

Lastly, The Bellevue Police Department has closed two substations to limit contact with the public amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Meeghan Black with Bellevue Police said this decision was important for the people that volunteer at the department. “Our volunteers, there are 16 of them that rotate through the substations, are considered to be at high risk if they were to contract this virus,” Black said. “We’re trying to reduce unnecessary exposure or accidental exposure during this outbreak.”
