8.30 Sacral Chakra Power Yoga
Description
First, excuse my hair in this class. Our intro week into Sacral Chakra Yoga and we got deep into the hips and inner hamstrings (Semimembranosus and Semitendinosus). We also explored what it means for consciousness to explore duality - an energy practice that discerns "whats feels good for me" vs. "what doesn't feel good for me". We are always calibrating our mindset whether we are conscious of it or not. And the spiritual dharma of Sacral Chakra is are we moving toward more nourishing, healthy, happy states of being? If not, what are we calibrating to then? Anxiety? Depression? Sacral Chakra teaches us that we always have a choice. The mastery of Sacral Chakra invites us to calibrate toward our better feeling thoughts. Even when sh!t is hard... what are you moving toward? The better feeling? Or resistance?

And when he says "Affirm Yourself", repeat every mantra AUDIBLY to yourself, after him. Its about 5 min long as you continue the exercises in class. It's a Kundalini-like exercise meant to create a mind-body connection.
