Hey y’all thanks for coming back to my channel to watch another Top 10 Right Now video! If you’re new, welcome aboard and feel free to subscribe as I have many more to come. This is my 4th ranking, featuring the best First Basemen in the sport!

My 1B list criteria: I rank players based on their statistics from the previous season, as well as projecting for the season to come. Although most of the stats I look at are offense-based, I do look at stand out stats on defense.

MLB Network’s “The Shredder’s” 1B list criteria: The Shredder is focused on 2 year samples. Some notable statistics it uses are WAR and wRC+ and it also includes Statcast metrics. First base has the smallest weight for defense at any position.
