Better Call Saul has released episode 10 of season 5. We pick up with Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) right where we left them in their apartment after episode 9. They’re worried about what will happen next now that Lalo has left their home. They decide to go to a hotel to plan their next move. Jimmy is worried and wants to hide, but Kim is determined to go back to the courthouse. While there she has a talk with Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian) who tells her about what Jimmy has done to him after his job offer. Howard warns Kim that her husband needs help.
In the season 5 finale Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathon Banks) with Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) about their plan to take care of their Salamanca problem. Jimmy tracks down Mike at home to find out how much danger that they’re in. Mike tells him things will be okay, and that Lalo won’t be a problem.
In episode 10 Lalo Salamanca’s (Tony Dalton) and Nacho Vargo (Michael Mando) travel to his compound in Mexico. They have a meeting with Don Eladio at his hacienda, where Lalo impresses him with a gift of a Ferrari. Nacho is able to make a good impression with Don Eladio and they return to Lalo’s home. There Gus’s plan to have Lalo taken out unfolds but is unsuccessful. Nacho is able to get away, but now Lalo knows that he was probably involved and that Gus has made a move.
In Better Call Saul s05e10 Kim makes a shocking turn that Jimmy wasn’t expecting. She tells him that she wants to go after Howard to force Sandpiper to settle their case. Kim convinces herself that she is doing it for a good reason, but Jimmy doesn’t feel good about it. We get the impression that he’ll go along with the plan. At the end of season 5 it looks like Kim is the one that is Breaking Bad.
