If you often find yourself wallowing in self-pity and wish you could click your heels 3 times to be whisked away, you may be playing the victim role in life.
Here are a few signs you’re stuck in victim mentality:
Do you feel like the world is against you?
Does it seem like you just can’t catch a break in life?
Are you secretly hoping someone will save or rescue you?
Feel weak or powerless?
Feel hopeless?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these, you may have a victim story running in the background of your life.
The Victim Role is a Subconscious Program: You were not born with it.
You took on the program in response to life experience.
Playing the role was rehearsed & reinforced over time.
It may seem impossible to escape, but you can!
STEP 1: Identify the Source of the Subconscious Program
The Victim Story Drives Your Mood & Attitude: So check out your self-talk
Your self-narrative is the story you tell yourself about yourself
Your self-beliefs drive your self worth. Your mindset determines your sense of personal power.
Your self-talk reveals the hidden beliefs keeping you stuck in victim hood
