Utes pull away late for victory in conference opener versus Oregon State

Utah men’s basketball opened the Pac-12 conference season with an 81-69 win against Oregon State on Thursday in Salt Lake City. Sophomore forward Timmy Allen was the game’s leading scorer with 25 points and added 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Both Gach chipped in 17 points and Rylan Jones finished with 14 to help the Utes being Pac-12 play with a victory. Tres Tinkle finished with 19 to lead Oregon State in scoring.
